Aug 15, 2011 - I've just obtained a Glock G-26 (third generation) and noticed that the serial number has 'US' at the end of the normal three letters/three.

Questions regarding G19 serial/barrel date/markings

Recently purchased a G19, Gen4 MOS. Looking at the available serial databases, I'm unable to find any info regarding (BDUB###). Barrel date is 'AT', rather than the standard 3 letter. Frame markings are 'Made in Austria, Glock INC, Smyrna, GA'.

1. Why the lack of serial lookups for this letter range? is it simply due to lack of database updates for newer guns?

2. What's with the 2 vs 3 letter barrel markings, and how can the date be determined?

3. The meaning of 'Made in Austria, Sym GA' - Does this mean parts made in Austria, assembled in US?
