Still missing something

So I downloaded this on my iPod touch a little after it first came out on iOS. I played it for awhile but ended up uninstalling it. I just recently redownloaded it on my iPhone. I was very happy that I can now change my characters eye color and intrigued by the new job and romance options. I don’t even mind that Nick has been killed off because they did it in total desperate housewives fashion. I always try to not get my hopes up as far as these type of click and wait for energy games go. They are often so Money driven that you’re basically not going to do well without spending real cash. They also tend to have an illusion of choice. However between the need to spend real money and some pre-set story lines you’re basically forced to go along with the main characters often dumb and out right possibly self sabotaging choices. For example this MC keeps spilling her guts to Officer Sage. She discovers new info and immediately has a quest to go spill her guts to him and basically show all her cards even though I’m not sure if he can be trusted. The main reason I can’t five star this game is that it’s still missing one ESSENTIAL thing that I thought was the norm for most games like this Which is Energy refill upon Leveling! With any other game like this that I have played leveling means you get a precious refill of energy and get to make it that much further in the story.

I’m losing more gems than I’m gaining.

I really like this game and the story behind it. Especially now that there’s romantic relationships and more customizations for your character. However as I’m playing the game I can see that the amount of gems I have doesn’t match up with what I should have. It was just a thought but I uncovered two clues and every time you uncover a clue you get a gem and money. I already had 6 gems so I should’ve had 8 afterwards. But I had 4 gems. 🤔 And I had already seen the amount of gems I had before I uncovered the clues so I know the game is just taking my gems. Why ? I don’t know. But also every time I run out of energy and close my game for maybe 2 or 3 hours I come back and see that I only gained 8 energy points. Does that make sense to you ? I’ll even go to sleep and wake up. After like 8 hours I go into the game and see that I only have 6 energy points ?!??! I don’t know if this is to get more money out us especially with the gems or if it’s a glitch but whatever it is please fix it. Thank you.

Pro’s: Awesome game, the free edition is great. It’s a simple, tap and click and pick, simple game. I never watched the show, but I love this game. Great graphics and pretty women characters. Very interactive and you get to do quite a bit before your energy runs out. Your character is very customizable with a good amount of pretty and realistic looking for graphics. Some decent and affordable items for purchase you earn playing the game and signing on everyday.
Con’s: Most items you have to purchase are too expensive with the money you earn and there are too many levels you have to unlock in order to obtain many items. It takes too many taps to do quests. So you get to do up to like 3 on the free version, but as users, using our time to play their game and up their numbers, give us more.
